What are E-books | Finding E-books in the Catalogue | Accessing E-books from Off-Campus | Viewing E-books online
E-books are electronic texts. Often E-books are merely electronic equivalents to a print title. The advantage of an e-book is that many people can use the resource at the same time. MUN owns thousands of e-books in all disciplines using a variety of platforms. In addition there are many free specialized and scholarly e-books available online.
E-books are included in the Library Catalogue. Searching for e-books is the same procedure as searching for normal paper books. To improve results when searching for e-books limit your search to 'Internet Resources' as shown below:
E-book records appear in a similar manner to normal books, with an additional internet access filed.
