Material within the Faculty of Medicine Founders' Archive is available for research to staff, faculty, students and the general public, unless otherwise restricted by legal requirements or written agreements with the donor(s).
The Archives will be closed until January 5th due to flood damage in the Health Sciences Library.

The Faculty of Medicine Founders' Archive's policy on access and use is intended to foster open intellectual inquiry within the context of the law, government regulation, institutional policy, and the ethics of the health and archival professions. The archive observes several guiding principles;
A major segment of the holdings is available for research. However, certain categories of documentation carry restrictions on access. These categories include, but are not limited to, the following types of documentation;

Records of research subjects Confidential committee records |
Records in restricted categories may be made accessible for research when legal, regulatory and ethical conditions permit. Users wishing to apply for access to restricted records must submit a formal request to the Archive Advisory Committee.
