Internet Guide: Scout Report Archives

Database: A collection of authoritative web resources, selected and annotated by professional librarians and content specialists. Very strong in academic subjects.

Size: Approximately 12,000 web sites.

Search tips: Search terms are found within the record created by the Scout Report for each web site, e.g. in the annotation, subject headings etc. not in the actual web pages. Note that only about half of the resources included in the database are available in the Browse. Also, in Advanced, if limiting by domain, not all the records in the database have been assigned domain information, so results may be limited if this option is used.
