Economics
(Social Science Information Gateway)
The SOSIG Economics section points to resources that have been selected and described by librarians or academics. In addition to having organized the resources into sections (Economic History and Economic Geography, Economic Systems and Theories, Environmental Economics, Experimental Economics, etc.), the site also provides a search engine which can be used to search the whole SOSIG catalogue, the entire economics site, or the chosen section. The results of a search provide descriptions of the links, including keywords. The site also provides a feature called "My Account" which allows users to customize SOSIG to create their own, tailored SOSIG information services.
