Getting started

Your MUN campus card is your library card and your print/photocopy card.

To use online resources from off campus,or to view your Library Account, you need:

IMPORTANT: You must update your Library Account each semester.

Support for distance graduate students

Memorial graduate students enrolled in a distance course may be eligible to use DistancePlus, library services for distance students.

Graduate students can get direct borrowing privileges at most other Canadian universities.

Request items located at my home library .

Faculty and graduate students who have the Queen Elizabeth II Library as their home library may request items from the QEII collection. How to Request items from the QEII Collection.

Faculty, graduate stduents and staff who have the Ferriss Hodgett Library (Grenfell Campus) as their home library may request items from the Ferriss Hodgett collection

Intercampus Loans

Request items from the Marine Institute, Health Sciences Library, and Grenfell College and pick them up at the QEII Circulation Desk. Use the Request button in the Library catalogue.

Get items not owned by Memorial

Place and track interlibrary loan requests with the Atlantic Scholarly Information Network Document Delivery form. Login with your Library User ID/Alt ID and PIN.

From an Article Index or RefWorks, reach the Document Delivery form through Get It at Memorial.

Articles will be sent to you from Document Delivery by e-mail. Books will be available at the Circulation Desk. Call 864-7424 with questions, or use the direct line at the Circulation Desk.


Research Support

Research help

Book an appointment with a librarian to receive a personal orientation to the library's resources in your subject area. To set up an appointment, phone, e-mail, chat, or visit a QEII librarian. Pressed for time? Drop-in help is available.

RefWorks personal research database

Use RefWorks to collect and organize references from the library catalogue, article indexes, and e-journals. Create your own personal research database, and automatically format a bibliography in any style (e.g. APA, MLA). Find out more about RefWorks.

Study rooms

Apply for a Study Room in the library. Individual and group study rooms are also available for 3-hour drop-in bookings at the Circulation Desk.

PapersInvited helps you find opportunities to publish and/or disseminate your research by listing Calls for Papers for conferences and journals.

Teaching Support

Put readings on Reserve

Place a book or article on reserve for your students with the Add Book to Reserve form, or contact the QEII Circulation Desk (864-3193).
