E-STAT on the Web (Full access for MUN users): Provides access to CANSIM (see entry above) but is only updated annually; covers the elections in 1997 and 2000 for provinces, territories and federal electoral districts; census data for 2006, 2001, 1996, 1991, 1986 as well as selected data from the 17th - 19th centuries; and statistics relating to the environment.
: The DLI allows access to a large collection of demographic, socio-economic and geographic databases from Statistics Canada. It requires familiarity with statistical software (e.g. SPSS, SAS) in order to be used. Note that the data at this site is restricted to current Memorial University of Newfoundland students, faculty and staff for teaching and research purposes only.
