Uncatalogued maps
There are a number of maps in the collection that are unclassified (no call number has been assigned to them). They may be found in the Library catalogue and will have an XX call number. The Map Room staff will assist you in finding these items.
Hydrographic charts/NTS topographic maps
To find NTS maps and CHS charts in the Map Room one would need to consult the paper indexes located on top of the oversize cabinets.
Depository Arrangements
- Natural Resources Canada - National Topographic System (NTS) maps at 1:25 000, 1:50 000 and 1:250 000 scales; Canadian hydrographic charts; Canadian geological maps

Now available on-line, indexes for 1:2500 and 1:5000 community mapping. Click here to download the file and open in Google Earth.
