Study Space

The Library accommodates the diverse needs of our users and recognizes that it is a place for group study as well as a space for reflection and quiet study. We therefore have a variety of seating for our users.

The second floor of the library is our designated "quiet study" floor, and there are individual study carrels available. The main floor accomodates group study, has a reading area with comfortable armchairs and couches, as well as individual study carrels. On both floors, we have leather laptop chairs with adjustable trays designed to accomodate laptop use.

4 group study rooms are also available, 2 on each floor. Rooms may be booked at the Reserve desk, for one hour, on a first come basis for groups of 3 to 8. All individuals requesting the room must be present and show MUN Campus Cards at the time of booking. Advance bookings are not available.
