Borrow a Virtual Reality Viewer

(posted Nov 7, 2016)

You can borrow one of the library's new Google Cardboard 3D virtual reality viewers to experience virtual reality on your smartphone!

Google Cardboard is a virtual reality platform that works with any smartphone (both Android and iOS). Named for its simple, inexpensive cardboard viewer, Google Cardboard lets you experience 360 degree and 3D virtual environments by downloading aps to your smartphone and placing the phone inside the cardboard viewer. When you turn your head or move up and down, the image turns and moves up and down with you, simulating the experience of virtual reality.
