Applications on the iMacs
Final Cut Pro X
This software is installed on both machines and is intended for those who wish to produce high quality video projects. Think of it as iMovie with attitude!
Follow Final Cut Pro X tutorial for an introductory course.
To start Final Cut Pro click the "Launcher” icon (the rocket) and then click the Final Cut Pro icon.
- You should already have your video clips on an external drive, or on a memory card.
- Once Final Cut starts you can create a new event (folder), import your clips and work on your video project.
Other Software
Other software installed on the iMacs includes:
- Pages (Word Processor)
- Numbers (Spreadsheet)
- Keynote (Slide-Based Presentation software)
- iMovie (Video Editor; simpler than Final Cut)
- Microsoft Office for Mac
