Grenfell Library Research Award

About the Ferriss Hodgett Library Research Award

The library research skill set requires students to be able to effectively locate, evaluate, and integrate existing scholarly ideas into a research project. The Library Research Award is designed to reward the acquirement of that skill set. The award will be based on a project completed by an undergraduate student in fulfillment of a course requirement. It is designed to award students who can clearly articulate what library resources they used, how they used them, why they used them, and what they learned from using them.

Any type of course project will be considered (e.g. essay, Power Point presentation, visual art project) as long as library research was required to complete it. Students that were part of a group project must submit separate applications and each student will be judged individually.
