The Commons
The Commons is a partnership between the library, the Computer Science Department and the Writing Centre and is located on the second floor of the library. This spaces brings together technology, writing support, and research expertise. The space offers 190 computers for research and scholarly work. A makerspace is a place where people can gather to create, invent, tinker, explore and discover using a variety of tools and materials. The Commons' Makerspace is physically flexible and contains equipment & supplies that allow students to explore their creativity.
