Drama Resource

Overall

The Drama Resource App differs from the rest on my list because it is not an app for students, but instead for teachers. This is a free app that guides drama teachers in their classroom. Drama provides an opportunity to have a lot of fun in the classroom, while still meeting all the curriculum outcomes required. This app helps by providing lesson ideas. The app is very organized and is broken into different subcategories: Ideas, Read and Learn.

This app offers many different tools for teachers. It is connected to many curriculum guides, making it easier to incorporate its activities into your unit and lesson plans. My favorite aspect of the app were the variety of activities and games listed. The activities had very clear directions, and some of them even had youtube tutorials to assist you. Along what was offered within the app itself, it also contained a "reading" section with lists of reading materials for teaching theatre, and a link to view or purchase these materials.

This free app is a wonderful resource to assist teachers in fun, innovative ways to meet their outcomes. I would recommend it and will definitely be using it as a guide in my own teaching career.
