Dramatic Music

Overall

The Dramatic Music app is a very simple app that provides a library of popular theatrical sounds. You can easily play any of these sounds by clicking on it. The app is advertised as free, but you cannot use any of the sounds unless you pay the $1.39 upgrade price. Once, paid, you have a three-page library to choose from: reaction sounds, events and musical instruments. Students can incorporate these simple sound effects into several different areas of their curriculum, including improvisation, speech and scene work to add creativity and atmosphere to their performances.

While this app is very simple in its layout and its purpose, I wish that there was a larger option of sound effects to choose from, as I found the list quite limited. Overall, I would recommend it as it allows students the chance to easily add a technological audio element to any of their projects.
