About the Health Sciences Library
The Health Sciences Library is a partner in teaching and research in Memorial University's Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Nursing, and School of Pharmacy. We also support Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services (Health Sciences Centre site).
Patients at the Health Sciences Centre and their families, as well as members of the public looking for health information, can visit the library as guests and make use of some of our services.
Our location
We are located in H1615 on the first floor of the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's.
Our collection
Our collection includes print and electronic books and journals, article indexes, audiovisual materials and more in the areas of medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and allied health.

The K.B. Roberts Historical Collection includes materials on the history of medicine and the health sciences, reprints of classics in the health sciences, and "working" materials such as textbooks and other primary historical sources that are exemplary of past medical practice and thought.
The Faculty of Medicine Founders' Archive is a special collection of the Health Sciences Library. The Founders' Archive is an archival repository for the Faculty of Medicine.
